Perhaps Andrew Neeme should have stayed in New Orleans a bit longer as his return to Las Vegas and the $5/$10 tables at the Bellagio resulted in a rather unfavorable poker session.

Prior to taking it on the chin - mostly against a respected reg - that led to his pockets being $1,200 lighter, Neeme had some business to tend to after arriving home from his trip to the deep south. The first order of business was getting the mail from his P.O. Box.

Letters, Postcards, and a Poker Book

A new segment to his vlog entitled "Mail on the Couch" was apparently born, as Neeme promptly opened and read his fan mail from the comfort of his sofa.

For viewers hoping for a bit more hand analysis and less air time about what Neeme does away from the tables, this part of the vlog was about as exciting as an episode of Sheldon Cooper's "Fun With Flags" on "The Big Bang Theory." For die-hard fans who love every minute of the vlogs produced by Neeme, it was likely an interesting look at the kind of snail mail that a respected poker vlogger with more than 35,000 subscribers receives.

Included among the postcards and letters was a book about poker from a Neeme admirer who reasoned that good poker books should be shared in the same way that the vlogger shares his life and poker sessions via YouTube.

Farewell to Poker

Next on Neeme's agenda prior to hitting the Bellagio cash game tables was a going-away party for a poker buddy who has decided to leave Las Vegas and the world of poker behind for a new start as a day trader in Chicago.

The poker grind can certainly wear down the best of them, as players sometimes prefer a change of pace and a transition into other areas of making money and earning a living. But Neeme is not one of them, as he dutifully refrained from drinking at the farewell party in order to play poker.

The session was highlighted by finishing second-best in a couple of key hands that were taken down by a winning regular, resulting in that $1,200 deficit. Such is the life of a poker vlogger.
