Fifty ways to do anything might seem excessive – apart perhaps from how to leave your lover – but journalist Lance Bradley’s new book “The Pursuit of Poker Success” has called on the world’s leading players to chart the route to greatness in the game…

Old-school stars such as Daniel Negreanu, Antonio Esfandiari, Jennifer Harman, and the younger generation that includes Adrian Mateos, Stephen Chidwick and Dan Colman, are all subjected to Bradley’s search for what makes them successful.

Bradley states that his book is “a little bit different than anything out there now”, telling Cardschat.com that it takes “a deeper dive into 50 of the best players in the world, and it’s got nothing to do with strategy, more to do with the things they’ve done in life that have allowed them to be successful in a tough field.”

Greg Merson, WSOP Main Event winner back in 2012, was one of the 50 chosen by Bradley, the poker journalist having covered the biggest events and interviewed most of the game’s leading lights over the past decade or more.
