Fans of poker vlogs who enjoy watching the traveling portion of a poker pro's lifestyle ought to take a peek at some of Jake Cody's YouTube offerings as the Team PokerStars Pro often takes viewers with him on his journeys.

Whether its Macau, Panama, or Monaco, subscribers seem to always ride along for an adventure with the England native who aptly titled his latest video "Suitcase Life." While traveling the world to play in big buy-in poker tournaments may not always be that glamorous due to the inherent problems that tend to arise while attempting to reach new destinations, Cody certainly makes it look like fun and exciting.

Bag and Tag

The jet-setting poker pro packs his bags for Monaco for another PokerStars Championship in his newest vlog release, running into Sam Grafton along the way. The two share a helicopter ride before Cody enters a $2K event, bagging and tagging 182,500 in chips on Day 1 and heading to his room for a good night's sleep before the next day's competition.

"Went pretty damn smoothly," Cody tells his loyal fans with regard to Day 1 action. He then recaps a hand that resulted in a double up when his French opponent called Jake's all-in shove on the river with only ace-high.

Day 2 didn't go quite as smoothly as Cody busted in 36th place. Losing two coin flips in a row sent the poker vlogger packing from the €2,200 PokerStars National High Roller at the Monte-Carlo Casino, earning a payday of €4,970 ($5,414).

A Hart Joins the Red Spade

Jake's vlog includes brief footage of the press conference that found fellow PokerStars Team Pro Daniel Negreanu seated alongside comedian and actor Kevin Hart. It was during that presser that Hart announced his new affiliation as an ambassador with the world's top-ranked poker room.

Cody also mentions playing in a cash game with his pal Sam Grafton and PokerStars Team Pro Online Jaime Staples, which will be televised in the UK on Channel 4 at some future date. Unfortunately, film of that game was off-limits to the vlogger for the time being.

Right to Play

A charity poker tournament for "Right to Play" was next on Cody's agenda and he dutifully made a final table appearance that ended with a 2nd place finish. An iPhone 7 was his reward, but we all know that the real reward for such charitable events go to the causes themselves.

Right To Play is devoted to educating children around the world through the use of sport and play in an effort to overcome the debilitating effects of poverty and disease. PokerStars and its players have donated over £1.2 million to Right to Play since 2014 and recently extended their partnership with the charity for an additional two years.
