Word on the street has it that Kevin Hart is back in the game â and that includes poker, TMZ reporting that the comedian was living it up with dinner and cards in LA in his first public outing since almost dying in a car crash last monthâŠ
Hart was almost unrecognisable as he showed up with rapper Jay-Z and sports agent Rich Paul at Greek restaurant Avra in Beverly Hills last night.
The Jumanji star was involved in a horrific crash last month when his 1970 Plymouth Barracuda, driven by a friend, ploughed into a tree leaving Hart with his spine fractured in three places.
The stand-up comic-turned-actor has long been in love with poker, pictured at home games with the likes of Jean-Robert Bellande and Dan Bilzerian, then landing a PokerStars contract in 2017.
He is also rumoured to be a fan of the Asian poker apps, playing stakes up to $200/400.
Itâs been far from plain sailing this past couple of years for the multi-millionaire, though, a $60million sex tape scandal lawsuit, a ban from Las Vegas and even a boxing loss to poker legend Antonio âThe Magician Esfandiari to contend with.
His appearance last night shows that Hart seems to be on the road to recovery from his accident, if not his life problems.
The driver of the car, his friend Jared Black, along with Blackâs wife have launched a lawsuit against Hart. They claim Hart âshowed negligence for not having critical safety features installed like airbags and safety harnessesâ. The rough ride for Hart continues.
