The partypoker-sponsored Mosconi Cup in Las Vegas will see three lucky SPINS poker players enjoy all-expenses paid visits to the premier 9-ball pool team tournament this November…

The Ryder Cup of Pool

The three-year deal between partypoker and Matchroom Sport covers the ‘Ryder Cup of Pool’ – the Mosconi Cup featuring a USA v Europe battle for pool supremacy.

The Americans currently hold the title, victory last year breaking an 8-year hoodoo, and they will be hoping for a repeat success from November 25th to 28th at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino Convention Centre.

Win your way to a Vegas VIP pool trip

Joining the stars of the 9-ball pool world will be three lucky Matchroom Sport customers, VIP packages worth $4700 each to the 26th edition of the Mosconi Cup up for grabs.

The special promotion to mark the partypoker/Matchroom deal requires players to opt in and play at least three SPINS games (minimum $1 buy-in) from three qualifying periods.

Do this, and see your name drawn at random by Matchroom, and you’ll be on your way to Vegas!

About the sponsorship deal

Matchroom Sport Chairman, Barry Hearn, said of the sponsorship deal:

“We are thrilled to be continuing our long-term relationship with partypoker as title sponsor of the Mosconi Cup."

Barry added:

“This is an exciting way to celebrate our partnership and a great opportunity for fans to win a special prize and join us at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino Convention Centre for one of the standout weeks of the sporting calendar.”

For partypoker, Managing Director Tom Waters, added:

“We are delighted to renew our partnership with our friends at Matchroom Sport in support of the world’s premier pool competition, and we look forward to another world-class spectacle of pool played out in one of the most exciting cities in the world.”

Pool’s finest 9-ball players

The US team Captain, Johan Ruijsink, has already been named along with a couple of his teammates, Shane van Boening and Skyler Woodward, while Europe’s Marcus Chamat will lead the Europeans as they seek to regain the Mosconi Cup, his team still unnamed…
