Negreanu “Horrified” by Kassouf Penalty
“Absolutely horrified by the unjust ruling of a one round penalty. So many things wrong with it,” tweeted Negreanu.
Biography
Daniel Negreanu is, without a doubt, one of the most recognised players of modern day poker. His huge personality and love for the game have taken him to top of the popularity scale in the eyes of poker fans and professional players.
He was born in Toronto, Canada on July 26th 1974, and started learning poker when he was 15 years old. Negreanu often speaks fondly of the old style of poker grinding, no online, just pure live poker at his local casino. He would grind there like a 9-5 job, and he put less emphasis on how much he was up or down, and more emphasis on improving his game in the long run. This obviously worked out well for him, as he is widely regarded as one of the best poker players ever, with lifetime tournament cashes of around $18m.
He is a regular on most televised poker tournaments or cash games, such as High Stakes Poker, Poker After Dark, and the EPT.
Daniel Negreanu won six World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets and two World Poker Tour Championships. Global Poker Index (GPI) has recognized Negreanu as one of the best players of the past decade.
Negreanu was also named WSOP Player of the Year for the year of 2004 and 2013. In 2014 he was also added in the Poker Hall of Fame with other well known Poker Legends like Doyle Brunson, Stu Ungar, Johnny Chan and others.

Twitter and Facebook are the new garden fence over which poker pros happily swap their gossip and thoughts, so here’s what the big names are talking about this week…
Everyone knows what high stakes poker is – its games where the dollars are thrown around in man-size bricks isn’t it? But what amount would really make it high stakes?
For Daniel $1million is obviously now a drop in the rather vast ocean which is his bankroll and bank balance! But he then goes on to talk about the “entitlement issues” other pros have in relation to invitation only events.
Whatever you are looking for from poker, Twitch streaming has you covered. In just a short while, the platform has managed to capture some astounding moments of poker triumph and tragedy.
Daniel Negreanu has re-launched his poker website Full Contact Poker (FCP) to co-incide with the launch of his new poker podcast which will feature Daniel giving his forthright and honest opinions on the poker issues of the day
"It is an immutable law in business that words are words, explanations are explanations, promises are promises - but only performance is reality."
Negreanu’s attack, which has been met by a barrage of criticism from friends and foes alike, was sparked when Matusow re-tweeted fellow poker legend Erik Seidel’s post warning of a Trump victory ending civilization as we know it.
The most famous part of Daniel's game is his uncanny ability to guess the specific holdings of his opponents during the course of the hand.
Cristos’s been ruffling feathers again at the WSOP by taking at least 15 seconds on every single decision! His horribly slow play has drawn criticism before, from Daniel Negreanu no less, but this time it was Chris Klodnicki who took Cristos to task.
