Polking fun at himself, Tom Dwan, the Global Poker League, and others for almost seven minutes in his latest YouTube offering, Doug Polk ends the video with a few seconds of sincerity when he issues an earnest challenge to Dwan to play heads-up for $5 million.

“On a totally serious note though, Tom, let me know if you want to play,” said the Upswing Poker co-founder and $111,111 High Roller for One Drop WSOP gold bracelet winner.

Jokingly claiming that he gets no respect and that Dwan seems to get all the accolades from fans, Polk talks of a desire to save his career and figures a heads-up match against 'durrrr' would do the trick. 'WCGRider' urges his YouTube subscribers - who now total 142K - to get the word out to Dwan that the $5 million challenge has been issued.

Waiting on Durrr

While such a match would be of great interest to poker players everywhere, the majority opinion is that Dwan is unlikely to accept. There is, of course, the Durrr Challenge with Dan Cates that Dwan has yet to sit down and complete, choosing instead to pay Jungleman some hefty penalties, so we've been told.

There is also the fact that Dwan, for the most part, has remained somewhat of a recluse in recent years. The high stakes cash game in Macau is apparently durrr's preferred hangout these days.

However, an appearance by Dwan on the re-booted "Poker After Dark" and a sighting at Bobby's Room playing for high stakes among the likes of Dan Bilzerian and Bobby Baldwin earlier this month is seemingly what prompted Polk to issue the $5 million heads-up challenge.

Dwan and Polk are among the cream of the crop when it comes to heads-up poker. Fans would love to see the two square off against each other for that kind of money.

I say it will never happen - not with Dwan and not for $5 milly. What do you think?
