partypoker LIVE Announce First Ever US Tournament as MILLIONS 'Special Edition' Comes to the Aria in Vegas

The bright lights city of Las Vegas will be setting partypoker souls on fire this summer, with news of a $5 million LIVE MILLIONS Vegas ‘Special Edition’ coming to the Aria Casino at the end of June – the first-ever partypoker LIVE event to be held in the USA.

MILLIONS Vegas will be a standalone version of the tour’s flagship Main Events around the globe, mirrored by the $10,300 buy-in, and the timing - June 28 to July 2 – is designed to ‘sit among ARIA’s popular lineup of single-day high roller tournaments’.

President of partypoker LIVE, John Duthie, said of the announcement:

“The partnership with ARIA in Vegas is a significant step marking the first time partypoker LIVE has hosted a tournament in the United States. The poker team at ARIA is well known for being genuinely passionate about the game. We believe they see things the same way we do and that it’s not all business, it is about listening to players and growing the game.”

The tournament is scheduled to have two day 1’s, allowing players one re-entry per day, as well as a direct day 2 buy-in for the first two levels. There will also be live satellites held at the Aria on Thursday, June 27th, the day before the MILLIONS Vegas kicks off in earnest.

partypoker’s North America series is due to kick-off in Montreal, Canada in just a few days, and with the Vegas Special Edition announcement and the enhanced 2019 version of the $20million GTD MILLIONS Online festival previewed just a days ago, it’s starting to look like a very full calendar.
