Shaun Deeb in Classless Divorce Tweet to Daniel Negreanu

Shaun Deeb is well-known on social media for his crass and often thoughtless comments about other pros, but he stooped lower than ever when he tweeted he “can’t wait” until Daniel Negreanu gets divorced – Negreanu naturally disgusted by the comments…

Deeb’s comment came, rather bizarrely, in a thread about pros lending money to fellow players – this week’s Eli Elezra revelations opening up a can of worms about who owes who how much.

For Deeb, however, it seemed that a swipe at the upcoming marriage between Kid Poker and Amanda Leatherman was somehow appropriate or funny – although he tried to ‘clarify’ what he meant…

…and failed miserably, Deeb rarely if ever apologising for his offensive behaviour over the years – this time being pulled up to no avail by fellow poker pro Danielle Moon, among others….

Clutching at straws, Deeb even retweeted a post about comedians that Negreanu had shared…

….but last year’s WSOP Player of the Year likening himself to a comedian is rather a stretch for most who follow his social media.

In recent years he has publicly fallen out with the likes of William Kassouf, Brandon Cantu, David ‘Viffer’ Peat, Martin Kabhrel and those are just a few of the spats that PokerTube has written about.

Is Negreanu likely to receive an apology from the mean-spirited Deeb… it’s as likely as half the debts in the thread that started the war of words being paid!
