The Postlegate cheating scandal erupted again as a $10million lawsuit was launched, with Mike Postle, Stones Gambling House and Justin Kuraitis all named as defendants…
The lawsuit brought by well-known gambling lawyer Mac Verstandig on behalf of 25 players lists 9 counts of wrongdoing by some or all of those involved in the streamed cash games run by StonesLivePoker.

Included are charges of fraud, negligence and libel and is the result of some incredibly impressive detective work by hundreds of members of the poker community, Joey Ingram and Matt Berkey among the better-known.
As our previous articles here, here and here describe, Mike Postle is suspected of using electronic devices and receiving help to cheat his way to an estimated $250,000, player and commentator Veronica Angry_Polak Brill last week lifting the lid on the StonesLive Poker cesspit.
Brill, as well as fellow players such as Jeff Boski Sluzinski, Jaman Burton and Harlan Karnofski are all listed among those who allegedly have been cheated out of $1000s over the past year and a half by Postle and any accomplices he may have had in the scam.
Looking in detail at the lawsuit, here is what, who and how much the legal action is looking to hit the alleged cheaters for:

The legal filing also lists possible accomplices as John Doe 1-10 and Jane Doe 1-10, although this is just a legal ‘placeholder’ allowing for others to be added to the list of those responsible.
Postle is suspected of having only one or at most two accomplices in on his scheme, and the lawsuit describes a John Doe 1:
‘The Plaintiffs do specifically allege Mr Postle had at least one confederate, that such confederate – John Doe 1 - is the individual who caused to be transmitted to Mr. Postle the information concerning other players' Hole Cards…’
The identity of this person is not clear, many suspecting Justin Kuraitis but surprised at the John Doe 1 tag, because Kuraitis has been named elsewhere in the lawsuit.
The incredibly long and detailed 2plus2 forum thread devoted to the Postleripper allegations have centred on either Kuraitis or another Stones insider, Taylor Smith.
Twitter has, naturally, been all over the case for the past week, and yesterday saw poker pro Jason Mo offer to pay the legal fees of whoever snitches on others involved…
With an ongoing community-led investigation and now an active lawsuit, the Postelgate scandal looks set to become biggest investigation in poker history.
