While she has certainly made her mark on the world of tournament poker as of late, Jennifer Tilly – born Jennifer Chan – is best-known for her work as an actress. Born and raised in Canada, Tilly got an early start in acting as a teenager, enrolling in the acting program at Stephens College in Missouri. Jennifer has since appeared in such films as Bullets Over Broadway,Liar, Liar,” and the wildly successful computer-animated film Monsters Inc. Jennifer may have seemed like a fish out of water when she took home the gold bracelet in the 2005 World Series of Poker Ladies No-Limit Hold’em event, but she would prove later that year that she was no one-hit-wonder with her first place victory at the World Poker Tour Ladies Invitational.
A regular feature on televised cash games such as Poker After Dark and The Big Game, she is also the partner of fellow poker player Phil Laak.
