Global Poker Set for RAPIDO Tournament Action

If you like your poker action fast and furious, then Global Poker’s latest tournament series is right up your street – and the name says it all… RAPIDO!… the US-facing online site promising ‘supersonic action’ with two weeks of turbo and hyper-turbo events among many other speedy formats.
Set to kick-off tomorrow, June 18th, the RAPIDO! Series includes 4- and 6-max tournaments across a range of poker formats, with Crazy Pineapple poker making a first appearance on the legendary Global Poker roster of events which saw the Rattlesnake Open break all sorts of records just last month.
The RAPIDO series boasts SC$160,000 in guarantees, which will almost certainly be easily broken given the popularity of their previous offerings, the Eagle Cup and Grizzly Games to name but two – and the crew at Global Poker will also be adding some new incentives to their ‘off-peak’ hyper-turbos.
What tournaments can I play during RAPIDO?
A look at the RAPIDO $weeps Cash schedule reveals buy-ins ranging from SC$11 all the way up to SC$110 across No Limit Hold’em, Fixed Limit Hold’em, Pot Limit Omaha and now No Limit Crazy Pineapple.
It all kicks off tomorrow evening with event 1, a NLHE $1,500 Guaranteed 4-Max Turbo with 1 rebuy and 1 add-on available – three tournaments every evening ensuring ‘high-octane, high-adrenalin’ action.
The Main Event
As always, the Global Poker tournament series’ culminate in a grand Main Event, and this time it’s a $20k Guaranteed NLHE Turbo 6-max, a $110 buy-in with a chance to become a Global Poker legend. It takes place on Sunday July 1st at 9pm, so be sure stick it in your poker calendar!
What else is on offer?
Alongside the RAPIDO series, Global Poker will be running its daily and weekdays Hyper-Turbo schedule, early mornings and late afternoons taken care of with the Breakfast Epiphanies, Lunch Money and Eyes Wide Shut! tournaments catering for those who just can’t get enough action.
