If you thought Dan Bilzerian was the only, ahem, poker player to get involved in the legal cannabis trade, then you can think again – the 1998 WSOP Main Event champ Scotty Nguyen teaming up with Friday Night Inc. to launch the Scotty Nguyen Focus Baby Disposable Vape Pen and Focus Baby Elixir at the WSOP.

More often noted for his alcohol-fuelled antics at the table, Scotty "The Prince of Poker" Nguyen said of the launch – due to coincide with the opening of this year’s World Series of Poker:

"I am very excited about the release of the 'Focus Baby' Elixir and CBD Vape pen with Canna Hemp. I love to be a part of something that I believe in and can attest to its effectiveness."

He added:

"I have seen a marked difference in myself while using the Canna Hemp products, especially the 'Focus Baby' line. I've got big goals this year and the 'Focus Baby' CBD will definitely help me reach those goals."

Chris Rebentisch, President and CEO of Infused MFG said of the co-marketing plans:

"We are pleased to have the endorsement of poker legend Scotty Nguyen. Partnering with Scotty opens a new market vertical for Canna Hemp CBD products with a target audience not only at the WSOP but for anyone desiring innovative, all natural health solutions”.

Cannabis in its various forms has been much in the news surrounding the poker world recently, high-rolling, poker-playing playboy Dan Bilzerian getting heavily involved in the legalised marijuana market…

…while poker pro Bradley Ruben will be rueing the day he took cannabis edibles before driving, the Florida pro admitting the drug had “affected him” before crashing into a stationary car, killing Juan Pedro Garcia before fleeing the scene.
